Dear Friends,
Rather than our weekly announcement of upcoming classes and events, Mike and I are writing to inform you that we have decided to close the cooking school and special events portions of The Village Kitchen. The prepared foods that have been available in Lewis Jones Food Market will continue to be available. You may also look forward to seeing more and more available from our fabulous chef Dexter Reed. As for me, I will be going on to serve as the Manager of Volunteer Services at Vista Care Hospice. We appreciate the support you have all given us over the past 2 years. It has been our pleasure to serve you by bringing the best in culinary instruction and hospitality to our community.
For those of you who purchased gift certificates from us during the months of December or January, please feel free to take the certificate to Lewis Jones Food Market and receive a refund for the price you paid.
You may still be looking for cooking classes, we encourage you to support Jaime Keating and his staff at The River Mill Event Center.

January 2011 Class Schedule
We're back and ready to begin the new year! Thank you all for such a wonderful Holiday season. We hope you were able to enjoy some time with your family and friends. Many of you included us in your celebrations and for that, we are so appreciative.
Our January class schedule is below. You'll see a few changes but the same great classes offered by our chef, Debby Jacobson. We are excited to add a new class series for beginners and a new Teens class. We have a few more things up our sleeves for the months to come so stay tuned and be sure to share the news with your friends.

Columbus Regional and The Village Kitchen team up to bring you another HEALTHY KIDS CAMP!
JULY 19th through 23rd, for kids ages 8 and up. Monday through Friday, 9am - noon. Lunch will be provided daily. Topics covered will be meal planning, grocery shopping, proper exercise and calorie consumption as well as the importance of following the food pyramid. COST: $50 per child for the first child in a family and $40 for the second child. Call 706-660-6545.
